Honda gives NSX a Facelift. by Alex Michalas You can be forgiven for expecting an all-new NSX from Honda (or Acura, depending on
where you live!) at the 2001 Tokyo Show. While we seem to be some time away from this, Honda has decided to keep us NSX-busy by giving a comprehensive facelift to its supercar offering.
The "new" NSX gets new headlights, new Recaro seats and a new Momo steering wheel while a few bits and pieces like the engine compartment are now made up of carbon-fibre in an effort to reduce weight. Mechanically the NSX is unchanged with the 280hp 3.2 V6 VTEC still powering the rear wheels.
Think about it – the NSX is the world's most friendly supercar ever and now it is even more desirable.
