BMW Unveils Z9 Convertible. BMW has just unveiled a convertible version of its Z9 Concept Car (said to have many common elements with the upcoming 6-Series Coupe) . 
The Z9 Convertible is basically just a design study and a test platform for BMW's new control mechanisms that include a Formula 1 style toggle switch gear selector attached to the wheel and iDrive,
a rotary knob located at the centre console that controls a wide range of electronic equipment on the car. We really think this 2+2 convertible would make a nice addition to BMW's open top range alongside the Z3 and Z8 roadsters. |
