The Blue Oval company has announced for the North American International Auto Show in Detroit the impending reveal of the 2017 F-150 Raptor SuperCrew.

The model is not new but comes as the crew cab variant of the 2017 F-150 Raptor that was first seen during last year’s Detroit event. The truck’s overtly aggressive and dynamic styling has been taken without any change and adapted to the extra set of doors – it features the massive and rugged front bumper, the mesh grille and those beefy extended fender flares. We also noticed the 17-inch alloy wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires and the dual exhaust system. The cabin is also the same as in the regular F-150 Raptor but naturally the rear seat passengers will have more legroom thanks to the improved entry and egress area provided by the standard set of rear doors.

Under the hood can be found the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that will come soon with more than 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque. Mated to an all-new ten-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system the model will also feature a torque-on-demand transfer case. Speaking about rough terrain credentials, the F-150 Raptor also packs a new Terrain Management System with the Normal, Street, Weather, Mud and Sand, Baja or Rock modes to cover all possible scenarios. We also know about the off-road focused suspension with FOX Racing Shox and Ford hinted the all new raptor will best the current one’s suspension travel when the models will reach dealerships later on this fall – pricing details will be delivered closer to the launch date.
