The final piece of Holden’s VFII series puzzle, the two-seat Commodore Ute, has been shown to the public for the first time at the 2015 Deni Ute Muster. As with its passenger siblings, the 2016 Holden VFII Ute features  a 304kW/570Nm LS3 V8 engine in SS models, while other changes are likewise in-line with the sedan and wagon, including keyless entry and start, and the all-important bi-model exhaust system. Sadly, though, the rear of the VFII Ute remains unchanged from the previous generation, missing out on the smart LED tail lamps that the VFII Sportwagon picked up. There is a new colour option for 2016, however: Slipstream Blue (Jungle Green shown below).
