2016 Renault Megane’s full specs leaked

The new generation of the Renault Megane will be available with three petrol burners and four diesel engines. The French compact car will be offered with the Energy TCe 100, rated at 100 HP (74 kW) and 175 Nm of torque, available at 1,500 rpm, coming from the 1,198cc unit, along with the same engine producing 130 HP (97 kW) and 205 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. The range-topping version of the petrol lineup will be the Energy TCe 205 EDC, with its 1,616cc unit producing 205 HP (151 kW) and 280 Nm of torque, at 2,400 rpm. This version needs 10.4s to reach 100 km/h from a standstill and it will eat an average of 6L / 100km of fuel. Diesel engines include the dCi 90, with its 1.5l unit producing 90 HP (66 kW) and 220 Nm at 1,750 rpm, along with the dCi 110, bringing the same unit but with more power, 110 HP (81 kW) and 250 Nm (EDC) / 260 Nm (BVM), at 1,750 rpm. The dCi 130 is bringing a 1.6l diesel burner, with 130 HP (96 kW) and 320 Nm of torque, available at 1,750 rpm, while the dCi 165 has the same unit but with more power, 160 HP (118 kW) and 380 Nm at 1,750 rpm, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 11.2 seconds.
