Subaru has performed a facelift to the Crosstrek for the U.S. auto market.

The 2016 Subaru Crosstrek is now getting ready for its future customers as it will be launched this fall. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question is bringing a revised front fascia with updated headlights and a fresh set of 17-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. Some of the safety features found on the SUV include the Lane Change Assist, the Blind Spot Detection, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert and so on. These are being offered on the Limited and Hybrid Touring versions, as the company is saying.

The interior design of the 2016 Subaru Crosstrek hasn’t been ignored by the Japanese based automaker either and this is now getting the 6.2-inch STARLINK infotainment system as standard with the AM / FM / HD radio, Bluetooth / iPod connectivity, CD player and a rearview camera. The model is also bringing the LED accent lighting, the new steering wheel, the orange contrast stitching, along with the new gloss black trim and the silver dash trim available for the 2.0i Limited and the Hybrid Touring. Under its hood, the 2016 Subaru Crosstrek is making use of a 2.0 liter Boxer four-cylinder engine, which is capable of putting down either 148 HP (110 kW) or 160 HP (190 kW). Prices for the vehicle will begin from 21,595 USD and it will be offered for sale this fall.
