Accident fatalities increased by 4.6% in 2014-15

With the growing amount of traffic on roads and poor traffic control along with the road network failing to handle the growing load, accident fatalities increased by 4.6% through 2014-15. Also, lack of safety features in Indian vehicles and poor driving sense is another big reason for accidents in India.
