The Australian automotive media is reporting that the new Alfa Romeo 4C Spider will be arriving locally this November. The pricing for the brand new Alfa Romeo 4C Spider will start from 99,000 AUD, plus the on-road costs, once it will be arriving at dealerships nationwide. This is not making it any cheaper but let’s not forget that its solid roof brother is not exactly cheap either, as it is standing at 10,000 AUD less. The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider has debuted at the 2015 NAIAS in Detroit and it was also brought to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, for its European premiere. The standard projector style xenon headlights, the Giallo paint, the carbon fiber hardtop and the bug eyed headlights are the only things separating it from its American brother. In the European version, the model is also coming with carbon fiber tips for the titanium exhaust which is center mounted and signed by Akrapovic, 17- / 18-inch front and 18- / 19-inch rear wheels with dark or silver finishes and so on. Under the hood, the same 1.75 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine can be found on the roadster no matter what market we are talking about. This is capable of putting down a total of 237 HP (177 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a TCT. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration takes 4.5 seconds and top speed is 160 mph (258 km/h).
