BMW and Toyota Reportedly Collaborating On LFA Successor

According to a recent report, BMW and Toyota are developing a new supercar together and there is already a protoype that has been created. It features a mid-engine layout as well as an all-wheel drive system. The car will apparently share the same architecture but BMW is likely to make use of hybrid technology with a twin-turbo six-cylinder developed by their M division. The Lexus, on the other hand, would feature front electric motors and a detuned version of the 3.7-litre V8 found in the TS040 race car. This would likely be the LFA successor and it could get as much as 800 horsepower if it does happen. Since we heard BMW were working with McLaren a bit earlier today, I am going to take this with a little pinch of salt but I really hope we do see a LFA successor being born.
