CNG to be more easily available to curb pollution

Recently, Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated 36 CNG stations in the NCR, taking the total up to 1,050 in the NCR.

From mid-April, the Delhi government will be reinforcing the odd-even rule. This means that private vehicles will only be allowed to commute only if their number plate was either odd or even (depending on the day). Car’s fitted with CNG will be exempt from this rule, given the fact that they pollute less and are more economical to the consumer.
