A short ride has turned into a nightmare for the driver of this Ferrari 458 Italia who ended up crashing it. It’s not often that we get to see filters added to a photo of a crashed supercar and this is what caught our attention in this story. The model in question is a Ferrari 458 Italia, with a beautiful red finish covering its body, which has definitely seen better days. The exotic ride has been destroyed in Florida recently after its driver lost control of the wheel due to bad weather. According to the guys from WreckedExotics, the model pictured below has left the road and it ended up taking a street light before coming to a full stop. The good news is that this is a rear mid-engined supercar so chances are its V8 unit hasn’t been affected but this is more than we can say about its front fascia or the driver’s ego. It seems that no one was hurt in this unfortunate incident. As you probably know by now, the Ferrari 458 Italia has been replaced recently by the 488 GTB. This was in production since 2009 and offered in two body styles, coupe and roadster (458 Italia and 458 Spider), both sharing the same 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, producing 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration was made in just 3 seconds and top speed stood at 340 km/h (210 mph).
