Lexus LC500 racer should jump from render-reality to SEMA-verse

The Specialty Equipment Market Association’s Show taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center should have a real life incarnation of this render that depicts a possible Lexus LC 500 racer.

We know such digital artist interpretations will forever remain in the form of 1s and 0s, but we’re still hoping fairytales come true, superheroes existed and generally all good things would happen to the good people. We’re suckers, we know, but you do know that sometimes dreams do come true. What we have here is a widebody Lexus LC 500 dreamt by known pixel guru Jonsibal – which depicted here an aerodynamic kit that would be put to good use, not just brag in front of friends at a barbecue. We’re treated here to a crazy racecar version. And by the way, the LC 500 seems to have become a regular obsession for digital artists – the Japanese automaker only presented the model early January during the North American International Auto Show and we’re already at the third digital alteration following the initial racer and drift car version.

And as opposed to those two versions, this one also comes with a slight modification – we see her depicted the back end of the flagship coupe. And since we’re talking about a motorsport iteration, the posterior is the main objective in any race – as in the driver manhandling the car wants to show it to the rest of the pack. And with such a massive wing the driver might also rest assure it won’t take off during the long straights. And here’s hoping Lexus takes notice of the love associated to their latest top of the line model and will treat us to some customizations of its own – maybe in November at SEMA?
