The exotic automaker first appeared a decade ago when it presented the quirky Antas grand tourer at the Top Marques Monaco event.

Now, ten years later the Italian coachbuilder has decided to return to the scene of its inception – Monaco – with a facelifted version of its newest offering, the Evantra supercar (pictured here). The model was first shown to the public back in 2013 and has a mid-engine setup with V8 power and a custom cabin featuring suicide-style rear-opening doors. The only update so far to the car was a fresh aerodynamics package and the brand has now mentioned its updated version will be wearing a new “Biplano” wing and a host of design modifications when it’s presented to the public of the 2016 Top Marques Monaco, slated to kick off on Thursday, April 14.

There are no other details concerning the facelifted Mazzanti Evantra and this means the supercar will most likely carry unmodified its 7.0-liter V8, which delivers 751 horsepower and 635 pound-feet of torque. The engine sends its power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox, enabling a 60 mph (96 km/h) time of three seconds and a maximum speed of more than 225 mph. The exotic manufacturer also has another novelty on store this year, as we recently told you they are working on another vehicle code-named project EV-R. According to Mazzanti this will be the most powerful street-legal supercar in Italy, meaning it would have more power than the 950 horsepower Ferrari LaFerrari.
