Mercedes-Benz is now introducing the new GLE 450 AMG 4MATIC, following the debut of the C450 AMG and the GLE 450 AMG Coupe. The model in question is basically sharing the same powertrain as the other two vehicles and this basically means that it has a 3.0 liter (2996 cc) V6 direct injected bi-turbo petrol burner under its hood, which is capable of putting down a total of 367 HP (270 kW) between 5,500 rpm and 6,000 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 520 Nm (384 lb-ft), available between 2,000 rpm and 4,200 rpm. Power is being sent to the 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive system through a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Mercedes-Benz says that the SUV needs 5.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and that it can go up to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 8.6L / 100km and the CO2 emissions stop at 199 g/km. The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG 4MATIC is 4,816 mm long, 1,926 mm wide and 1,762 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,915 mm. No less than 5 driving programs are offered for the SUV, the Individual, Comfort, Slippery, Sport and Sport Plus. The 4MATIC AWD system is distributing the torque in a 40:60 ratio (front:rear). In terms of design, the model has the 20-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, finished in black, the two chromed twin tailpipes, Nappa leather sports seats, sports steering wheel, brushed stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs and a 280 km/h (174 mph) speedometer.
