Mercedes-Benz GLS can’t stop leaking – we know how it looks like even in AMG Line guise

The former GL flagship sport utility vehicle – rebadged as the GLS once the midlife updated would become complete and official – has been making the rumor rounds these days thanks to new leaked pictures. There’s an imminent sense to the model’s introduction since the leaks display official images and we have nothing to wonder about in terms of exterior design. Fortunately the company has managed to keep the interior under wraps (so far) so we do get a little mystery to keep us entertained. As we can all see from the images, the former GL – now aptly renamed as the GLS – comes with pretty subtle exterior changes with modified headlights that incorporate LED daytime running lights and a front bumper with massive air vents. The profile seems unchanged and at the back we get treated to modestly revised graphics for the lights, a shape shift for the exhaust tips and a tweaked diffuser. The interior is mostly expected to carry over from the GLE brethren and the model should have a public welcome during the Los Angeles Auto Show that will first greet media representatives on November 17. The latest leaked image – which looks to have been sourced from a brochure – displays the more upscale AMG Line version complete with an all new orange paint job. The sporty appearance is enhanced by the glossy black contrasting roof complete with silver roof rails and the aluminum front underbody protection. We can also see aluminum side steps that go hand in hand with the huge multi-spoke alloy rims. Via
