New Volkswagen Touran order books opened

Volkswagen has officially announced the pricing list of the new Touran as the order books for the MPV have been recently released. If you are interested in the brand new Volkswagen Touran, than you will be glad to find out that the order books for the model have been opened officially. The vehicle is currently in its second generation and it has been shown back in March, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, bringing a 113 mm longer wheelbase, a trunk capacity increased by 48 liters to 1,040 liters or even 1,980 liters with the rear seats folded and it is now 62 kg lighter than its predecessor. The 2016 Volkswagen Touran is riding on the MQB platform, which has been borrowed from the Golf VII, and other models signed by the VW Group, and it can be equipped with the latest generation infotainment system which is providing support for MirrorLink, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the tri-zone automatic climate control, the full LED headlights and it can be offered with the 5- or 7-seat configuration. As far as the engine lineup goes, this includes the 1.2 TSI 120 PS with a 6-speed manual or the 1.4 TSI turbo with 150 PS, connected to a manual or the 7-speed DSG. There are also a couple of diesel burners as well, the 1.6 TDI with 110 PS connected to a manual or a 7-speed DSG or the 2.0 TDI 150 PS coming with a 6-speed DSG. The cheapest version of the model is starting from 23,350 EUR and the MPV can go up to 35,425 EUR.
