Nissan announces pricing details for the 2016 Titan XD Crew Cab with gasoline V8

According to the Japanese automaker, if you’re looking to buy the gasoline version of the 2016 Titan XD Crew Cab, packing the mighty 5.6-liter V8 you’ll have to shell out at least $35,290, excluding the $1,195 destination and handling.

The 2016 Nissan Titan XD Crew Cab will be seen in showrooms in five trim versions and with 4×2 and 4×4 setups, but the petrol V8 can only be had with a single transmission choice – a seven-speed automatic which makes use of the downshift rev-matching technology. The Endurance churns out 390 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque and that compares solidly to the 5.0-liter V8 turbodiesel Cummins that has in store just 310 hp – though the 555 lb-ft of torque more than makes up for the smaller stud farm. Aside from the dual V8 option, the Titan can also be had without the XD moniker that will be offered with a V6 engine that has not been detailed yet because it will arrive later on.

Nissan is already delivering the 2016 Titan XD and the 2017 model year is scheduled to reach showrooms in the United States sometimes this summer. The newer model year will only be offered as a Crew Cab configuration for starters but later on the Single and King Cab variants will also come as 2017 Titans. With the pricing for the Titan XD s Crew Cab 4×2 starting from $36,485 eager customers can upgrade all the way up to the Platinum Reserve Crew Cab 4×4, which will set them back at least $56,715.
