The Romanian automaker, currently a wholly owned subsidiary of French carmaker Renault, is reportedly gearing up for a major promotion of its current roster of models.

Mainly, the most important ranges – the Duster sport utility vehicle and Logan sedan and Sandero hatchback are up for refreshes. The Former is actually up for a complete overhaul thanks to the alleged introduction of the second generation sometimes in 2017. Meanwhile the older Logan and Sandero have already reached their midlife cycle of their second generation and are up for a classic nip and tuck facelift. The Duster SUV is actually the only core model that has remained almost the same since it was first released back in 2010 – after a slight and casual refresh back in 2013.

According to Laurens van den Acker, Renault Group’s design chief, cited by a Romanian publication, a new Duster generation and facelifts for the Logan and Sandero are all on the company’s menu. He was also a little more open on details and said the updated versions of the core Logan sedan and Sandero hatchback lines would be presented in front of the worldwide audience during the Paris Motor Show this coming fall. “In September, in Paris, we will have the facelifted Sandero and Logan,” commented van den Acker. “It’s a mid-life restyling. For a big leap, we are waiting for the new Duster. Dacia, however, doesn’t have a large enough lineup to come up with something new every year.”
