Another rendering is bringing the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV into our attention. Bentley has managed to start a new trend with luxury SUVs by unveiling the impressive Bentayga and now its main competitor, Rolls-Royce, is getting ready to pull the wraps off a similar model. Reports are indicating that this is going to be called the Cullinan but before taking a closer look at it, renderings is what we’ve got really, like this particular one, put together by our friends at TopSpeed. According to our source, the Rolls-Royce SUV will be offered sometimes in 2016, as a 2017 model year, and this will be getting a similar front fascia to other vehicles in the lineup. Other reports are telling us that the model might be shown, in its final production form, by the end of 2018. However, a new platform is expected to be developed, which might also be used by BMW on the X7 range-topping SUV. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is believed to get a large V12 engine under its hood as well, which will be making it a direct competitor for the range-topping Bentayga. However, it won’t be as fast as its Bentley rival because the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) is believed to be made in 6.8 – 6.9 seconds and top speed should be electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). Additional details on the first ever SUV put together by Rolls-Royce are limited at the moment and will most likely be announced when this will be unveiled.
