Rolls-Royce quietly introduces Wraith Carbon Fiber edition

The British automaker is not quite done for the year yet – even though we thought so after delivering the Sunrise Phantom Extended Wheelbase and has now delivered the WraithCarbon Fiber” special edition. It’s actually an alternative channel that was used to tip the reveal – the Facebook page of the company’s dealership in Geneva, which also detailed the model a little and delivered the usual sense of exclusivity, with just 25 units planned for series production. Another interesting detail is the special edition Wraith Carbon Fiber isn’t actually lighter because it turns out the standard steel + aluminum body has been retained, meaning the US-spec would continue to weigh a hefty 5,380 lbs (2,440 kg). Setting it apart from the rest of “mundane” Wraiths is the Carbon Fiber’s glossy black body hue that has a matte black hood and a shiny radiator grille – with matching two-tone alloy wheels to wrap up the exterior design. The interior has been treated to more modifications as well – black leather upholstery is now mated to carbon fiber instead of the usual wood grain trim, while red accents popping up here and there are used to spice up the atmosphere – the beautiful Starlight headliner is also there even though it can take anywhere between 9 and 17 hours to be finished. The final element is the special aluminum plaque on the side sills that reminds you were driving a special edition Wrath. We’re not looking at any powertrain changes and the model still comes with the V12 6.6-liter mill that has 624 hp (465 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm), decidedly enough to propel the massive coupe to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds and then drive up to an electronically-governed 155 mph (250 km/h).
