The SEMA show taking place in Las Vegas later this week is choke full of mods from the automakers, with Nissan adding to the bunch its Titan XD Measured for Success. The Titan XD has been retrofitted by SEMA members, with the prototype one-off taking on the Baja support vehicle duties and coming with a protruding front bumper, a mesh grille and KMC XD Series Machete wheels with Toyo Open Country M/T tires. We can also see the model has a retrofit LED light bar, extended fender flares and a 2.5” Stage 5 suspension system from Icon Vehicle Dynamics. The off-road features are being complemented by the new rear bumper, the Warn winch and the Hi-Lift jack. “It was an honor to have partnered with SEMA on this project, and we’re very excited how the first-ever industry-modified 2016 Nissan TITAN XD has turned out. The SEMA Show is a great opportunity to really dive deep into everything automotive and meet with the real industry trendsetters,” comments Pierre Loing, the Nissan Vice President of Product Planning. The truck features under the hood the 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel V8 engine – which has been fitted with a cold air intake and a Magnaflow exhaust. Nissan refrained from delivering any specific details on the powertrain figures following the subtle modifications – though the standard setup was already able and willing – 310 bhp (231 kW) and 555 lb-ft (752 Nm) of torque.
