Owner Daryl Buckmaster and his son, Bill Starks, decided to sell the building after becoming too busy to preserve it.Buckmaster owned the Marathon Station for 17 years and originally purchased both the building and the house next door for $19,000. He said when he originally purchased the station, all of the windows had been broken out and there was a momma cat with kittens dwelling inside. “The house I purchased, as well, was the original house with the station,” Buckmaster said. “Then, I sold the house and got more for it than what I bought the whole property for.” It is on the border of Oklahoma, Kansas and Missourihttp://www.miamiok.com/article/20160410/SPORTS/160419999
