The largest automaker in the world, also Japan’s largest company, has recently introduced online the all new Noah G’s and Voxy G’s studies prior to their official public debut during the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon. They will act as “souped-up minivans,” with the concepts packing a dynamic and aggressive design highlighted by the body kits that come equipped with new front and rear bumpers. We also noticed the red brake calipers, sporty alloy wheels treated to a dark finish or the mesh grille inserts. Details that have been revealed so far are still rather scarce, with the automaker only saying the two concepts will be used to test the reaction to a “sportier feel” for the minivans. It also added the dynamic enhancements have not lowered the interior comfort level and also come packing a “refined ride.” Technical details regarding the concepts have not been released either, with the standard models packing under the hood a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline option churning out 152 PS (150 bhp / 112 kW) and 193 Nm (142 lb-ft) of torque. Also available is a hybrid option that switches to a 1.8-liter engine delivering just 99 PS (97 bhp / 73 kW) and 142 Nm (104 lb-ft) of torque. The two concepts will stand next to the more appealing S-FR Racing concept that has been treated to a reworked body kit, a ventilated hood, carbon fiber reinforced plastic canards and tops all out with a spectacular rear wing.
