The Golden State just added more to its name and value as six Porsche 918 Spyder models were spotted riding together in California, U.S. Spotted after the Monterey Car Week, the hypercars cruised together and raced each other in the video which just made its way on the web. The feast for our eyes is also a rare event as only 918 units of the supercars have been produced by the German carmaker, with 297 models out of them in the United States, making it the biggest automarket globally for the exotic limited car production. One of the cars in the video is owned by Alejandro Salomon, entrepreneur and movie producer, and it has the Sticker City wrap, while it joins the other five models fitted with the Weissach weight saving and aerodynamics package. The sextet showed original and interesting paint jobs while it drove from Santa Monica to Newport Beach. The Porsche 918 Spyder is a plug-in hybrid, using a 4.6-liter, naturally aspirated V8 and an electric motor in the back that also acts as the main generator, and two electric motors at the front for a total output of 887 HP (900 PS) and 940 lb-ft (1,280 Nm) connected to a 7-speed PDK. The Porsche 918 Spyder is an exotic two-door roadster, with a hybrid powertrain, which debuted back in 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show in its final production form. It is Porsche’s answer to the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1. A 4.6 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine is used under its hood, along with two electric motors. The combined output sent to the four-wheel drive through a 7-speed PDK is 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,280 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), it needs just 2.5 seconds and its top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph). The Porsche 918 Spyder is the fastest production car to lap the Nurburgring after cruising it in just 6 minutes and 57 seconds.
