A facelifted version of the smallest four-door vehicle produced by Mercedes-Benz, the CLA, has been caught on camera recently while it has been tested out. There is no actual surprise with the fact that the 3-pointed star is currently planning to introduce an updated version of the CLA, considering the fact that the four-door coupe is based on the A-Class and this has been upgraded earlier this year but we were expecting to see it make its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. However, it seems that development is far more behind than we thought but the good news is that this is just a few months away from hitting the dealerships near you. Chances are this will be known as the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA and it will be bringing, probably, similar features as the “new” A-Class. These will include the LED technology for the taillights, the LED clusters instead of the bi-xenon headlights, some revised front and rear bumpers and some tweaks made to the cabin. Here we are expecting the galvanized switches and the 8-inch infotainment system which will be revised and it will be compatible with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As far as the engine lineup goes, this will be carried over from the facelifted version of the A-Class as well, and it will include the range-topping model, the 45 AMG, which will now come with 381 HP and 475 Nm of torque. Chances are the updated CLA will debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, but this hasn’t been confirmed at this point.
