A classic Ferrari F40 supercar equipped with a Tubi exhaust system has been spotted cruising around Monaco recently. Driving a Ferrari F40 in Monaco is not something extraordinary because exotic vehicles feel right at home here. However, spotting this particular supercar with its modified exhaust system and capturing it on camera definitely attracted a lot of attention. The exotic model sounds simply great and you should definitely turn the volume up before clicking the play button because you will have something new to show your friends after that. We know Ferrari purists will say that this is “crappy”, but we really don’t care about that. The Ferrari F40 is the last supercar born in Maranello to receive Enzo’s blessing. It has been produced in just 1,311 units, between 1987 and 1996, and it has a two-door coupe body style, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The Ferrari F40 has a 2.9 liter twin turbo V8 engine, capable of putting down no less than 478 HP (386 kW), at 7,000 rpm, and 577 Nm (424 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear-wheel drive through a 5-speed manual transmission. The supercar needs just 3.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill and it can go up to a top speed of 323 km/h (201 mph). The F40 came as a replacement for the 288 GTO and it was succeeded by the F50.
