The upcoming Audi TT RS has been caught on camera, with no camouflage on its body, on the Nurburgring. Audi is currently working on the development of the new range-topping version of the TT, the RS. The high-performance two-door coupe has been caught on camera recently on the famous German track, with no camouflage covering its body. This may look like the ordinary TT but it’s not and remember that this is nothing more than a simple test mule at this point. A more aggressive design will be adopted, making it more “visible” than the current TT S, so expect large bumpers, the typical RS exhaust and large wheels hiding better brakes. A sports suspension system will be added to the “combo” as well, along with some cabin upgrades. The most important part of the vehicle will be found under its hood where the 2.4 liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine is expected to be found. Chances are this will be putting down more than 400 HP (294 kW), and power will be sent to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive through a dual-clutch automatic transmission. Don’t expect a manual because this may be left out. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), rumor has it that it will need approximately 4 seconds and top speed should be limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). However, this can be raised to 280 km/h (174 mph) with an optional performance package. The model should be unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
