"We came to straighten things out."On Monday night, Volkswagen took a cue from Broadway: The show must go on. Despite the scandal rocking the German automaker, as news broke last Friday that the company intentionally violated Environmental Protection Agency standards, it chose to stick to its plan to reveal the 2016 Volkswagen Passat in New York City. Instead of cancelling or toning down the event, which featured a splashy auto-show style reveal and a full-on performance by Lenny Kravitz and his ten-piece band in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Volkswagen of America CEO Michael Horn opened the evening with a lengthy apology.
