HSV GTS (VTII)
The new Series 2 VT car in the HSV garage promises to be the
fastest car this company has ever produced. A T56 six-speed manual transmission
with a 3.9:1 final drive ratio is standard, as well as Multilink rear suspension,
Hydratrak rear axle, 18" alloy wheels, and a Callaway developed 400+hp
engine. This helps the VTII reach 62 mph in 5.1 seconds and the quarter mile in
13.3, 1.1 and 1.0 seconds faster than its predecessor, respectively. The 343mm
cross-drilled, ventilated discs up front; with 315mm similarly setup discs out
the back and standard ABS provide excellent braking while the 235/40 ZR18 tires
keep the car planted to the ground. With every GTS purchase, the owner will
also receive a free HSV driver training and skill course. And the price for
