Alex is right Porsche has to differenciate their SUV with VW. What a surprise it will be if the VW is better than the Porsche.

Don't forget, friends, Lamborghini made it's own SUV in the 80s, the LM002. It was a sort of Hummer-type deal. Not that bad of a truck either!

I totally agree , when BMW came out with the X5 i thought the same thing. Now this is like the Mark McGwire of vehicles, you know the andro steroid stuff.

Like most of you i also thought that making a SUV is not Porsche's job it should keep on making faster supercars. But now when i saw what it really will looks like and read it's review, it's not a bad idea after all!
a SUPPEDUP SUV!
i just hope it performs as well as they say it would!
And finally BMW X5 will have someone to compete with!

What is wrong with car companies these days. One company starts making SUV's and everybody jumps on the bandwagon. I swear this industry is full of copy-cats. Why cant sports car companies stick to making sports car companies like porsche stick to making sports cars? Wats going to be next a Lamborgini SUV or maybe a Ferrari?

This Cayenne is a piece of junk.
911 Tubro, 911 Carrera, Boxters were amazing.. but this looks ugly..

i have no problem with Porsche's Cayenne. It's just another Lincoln Navigator, nice interior and too pretty to scratch the paint on with all that "offraoding nonsense" but hey, if they want to run with the "classic" SUV's, bring it.

This cars is so cool, I've ordered one at my local dealer and got the 4th deposit on that they had taken, so I should get one of the first ones in the UK! can't wait! it makes a lot of sense for Porsche fans with families too.
