Well, I'm just glad I saw it, one way or another. Most people didn't like the car back in Nov. and Dec. I bet that is still the general opinion. Oh, well. I like that car personally. Aggressive and powerful. I had never seen this thread and am glad it was brought back. However, we needn't insult people for their opinions. Dissent and a simple explanation will suffice.  ------------------

Mr. Focus doesn't seem all that bright, for obvious reasons. Fortunately, he'll never return.Whatever DID happen to Gowan? I think the last time he posted Winston Churchill was Prime Minister ... ------------------

The focus is a piece of sh!t and I hate the idea that Ford would try and get in on the import crowd. I mean it's one thing to make a cool car that the japs make, but to bring over an american civic hb is ridiculous. I hate these cars, and especially the FRwhatever it is, b/c for 200K I could get a car that was faster than 13.6 in the 1/4, and look a lot better. I think that car is a riced out piece of shiet, and deserves to be put back on the drawing board. I hate the design of the sedan focus too, it looks unproportioned, and I hate it. I'm glad GM isn't doing anything stupid like this.BTW, focus guy, you need to stop cussing so much and let people have oppinions. If you are even still here, don't insult people, you will be banned. ------------------

The 3-door Focus is pretty well designed, in my view, but the sedan does look ungainly.Actually I prefer this Ford to most comparable Japanese cars. It has a more European style and angularity that they don't have. GM, under its Opel and Vauxhall branches, DOES offer similar cars in Europe. ------------------

sorry to dissapoint ya kingfisher, but im returning, a little toned down though....first of...badazzv8...i will agree with you in the fact that the sedan focus is shitty...but i have to completely disagree with your views on the FR200...first off, its a ford, not jap made, so it does not qualify as an import....therefore, its not a riced piece of shit cause only supped up imports are ricers...i would REALLY like to see where you found that it cost 200k to complete that car because by the looks of it, i seriously doubt that it cost more than 50 g's to make that...and any car that cost 200 grand that does the 1/4 faster than that will have less gas mileage than my ass....and if you think threatening me with a ban from a message board is devastating, i really couldnt give two shits...s2k...im glad at least someone has some brains on this message board...and yes the mclaren is one hell of a car...however, i think there is one car that looks just as good if not better and is as fast if not faster...saleen s-7...if you don't know what it is, then let me know and i'll get you a pic of it...if you do, then you should seriously compare the 2...it should be close...nice site by the way------------------

Well, I have several comments on your most recent post.
1. It's not that we don't like you having opinions, just don't insult anyone if they don't agree with you.
2. I love the FR200. It is a beautiful car.
3. I hope you don't think all Japanese imports are rice and automatically bad. Please don't stereotype Japanese cars like that. If it is suped-up (with performance mods), it is all the better, and there are many fast, great Japanese cars.
4. According to Fast-Autos.net, here, it is 200,000USD. However, that is probably only because it was a concept. It should be much cheaper in production.
5. If you are going to stay, that is fine with me. I welcome you and your opinions to this forum. Please, however, try to not insult others for their opinions, use too much profane language, and I hope to change your opinion on Japanese cars ("Rice").------------------

3. i didnt mean for it to come out the way that it did....i dont think all jap cars are ricers, i just meant that if it isn't an import car, it can't be a ricer...and yes, some jap cars are EXTREMELY nice

Well, I just think any profane language is too much, personally. I don't like it, and it isn't really necessary to use it. However, I won't get over your case for using profanity if that's your choice. I would just like it if you didn't. Don't worry about everyone else. We've just had some problems with some really annoying posters recently. This board will treat you with respect as long as you do the same. And I'm glad I read a little too much into your post about Japanese cars. So, I hope you have fun in this board. ------------------
