Well there you go... too much coffee I think, everything's a blur these days...

Turbo S will be very cool - 4WD plus loads of power = kick ass!

the 996 turbo beats the ferrari in virtually everything pertaining to acceleration - i would pick a 911 turbo over a 360 modena anyday..although i would pick hands-down a street legal version of a 911 gt1 or a 1987 Porsche 959 which is my favorite car

I mean there's no match in the two. Clearly porsche wins. Look at the stats Porsche 911 is 0-60 faster has the same top speed better handling better brakes, and it's something like fifty thousand cheeper. Then man when that 911 turbo s comes out there will be no match between any ferrari and the porsche 911 turbo. I have the number right in front of me. Maranello 4.2 the spider 4.6 0-60.
and there like a 100 thousand more.

Like someone else said this is why I'm in school so I can have a porsche.

I loved the old 911 Turbo S, back then I was more of a Porsche fan....
But now Ferrari rather lights my fire, or perhaps TVR.

I have the same view friction, I now would rather have a Ferrari over a Porsche. I still love the looks of the 911, but with the boxster sharing the basic body lines, and with Porsche coming out with an SUV, they are starting to piss me off. I say Porsche loses to Ferrari now.
