R35 will probably have 3.5 V8 TT, not 4.5. You don't think 450hp is enough?? Why?------------------ Proud Webmaster http://www.AutomotiveForums.com IP: Logged |

450hp will make one quick skyline, but it will pale into insignificance against the likes of the Mines R33/R34 as far as power is concerned.------------------ www.hsv.com.au IP: Logged |

A definate improvement over the previous Skyline....Nissan did a great job with the lines on the car, very smooth, has the appearance of it being a speed machine.------------------

yeah the R33 was described by a british mag as a supercar in all but shape. The R34 was an improvement, and this just kills them both

a note to igor@af the 3.5 lit. twin turbo will be a V6 from the maxima the V8 will be 4.5 lit. from the new Q45right now decision is not made regarding to which engine to use, but personally i'll opt for the normal breathing V8. reason? not i don't like twin turbo, but if nissan is going to dump the straight six, it better put a V8 in there. ------------------

Now I know this might be off topic, however, I would like to ask if anybody knows where I could find a decent picture of the LCD display of the R34. This would be really helpfull. E-mail me @ skylinegtr@chalktv.com Thanks ------------------ Skyline GT-R - The ultimate Sports Car IP: Logged |

Not bad but i donn like it too much. It outght to have good performance and 450 hp is plenty, especially for -100K, if the price stays the same. The back of the car even reminds me of the twin circle tailights on alot of ferraris, which for a person who like euro cars most of all is nice tosee.------------------ Porsche lover down to the golf clubs. I made a comment on the taillights being a lot like Ferrari's, and I got insulted. I know Skylines use the round tails, but they do remind me of a Ferrari.------------------ Previously 95gsrvtec '93 Camaro Z28 A4: CAI TB Bypass '92 VW Corrado VR6: EIP Intake Manifold Neuspeed P-chip Neuspeed Intake Eibach Springs Konig Monsoons 17" Custom Exhaust Stage III Clutch Yamaha YZF600 IP: Logged |

How come people are agreeing with me now, but in the other thread I got shut up. I mentioned that they reminded me of Ferrari and whoever it was got angry and started saying that the round tails were skyline tradition or something. I am going to find that other thread, and see who that was.------------------ '93 Camaro Z28 A4: CAI TB Bypass 1/4 mile 14.106/98.19 '92 VW Corrado VR6: EIP Intake Manifold Neuspeed P-chip Neuspeed Intake Eibach Springs Konig Monsoons 17" Custom Exhaust Stage III Clutch Yamaha YZF600 IP: Logged |

Does anyone else know anything about the 1971 Nissan Skyline GTR? I know this is slightly off the subject, but I recently saw it in Gran Turismo 2 and was wondering if anyone had extra info on it. Looks a lot like current Skylines, in a way.------------------
