This Viper doesn't look as agressive as the GTS-R Concept. But maybe if I saw more pics I would like it better.------------------

i think this is the worst thing yet. my 2001 camaro has 560hp with a v8. dodge ruined everything they should stick with the v10 because you can buy more after market parts. whats gonna happen to the dodge venom 650r which needs a v10? if the us wants a real sports car it has to have a v10 or v12 engine.------------------

The original RT/10 was a lot more understated than the GTS, so hopefully the 2003 GTS will once again take a leap ahead in aggression.------------------ www.hsv.com.au IP: Logged |

where have you been? the Viper IS a V-10... and what are you talking about that a sports car has to be a v-10 or 12? are you saying the Z06 isnt a sports car? ------------------ My Prelude may not be the Koening Modena or Callaway C-12 I want it to be, but I'll live with it until I get too much money. As I said I like the looks, but id like some more pics from different angles. Also Porsche God, your complaining about an American car having a V-10 when Porsche only has one car with a V-10 (Carrera GT) and the rest with Straight 6's ------------------ Porsche lover down to the golf clubs. Not all Porshce has flat-6. The 928 has V8, the 968, 944, 924, 908, 550, 356 & some 914 have 4 cylinders. Of course there are also several others without the flat-6. IP: Logged |

The new 03 Viper is the car that has no match. If anyone that wrote on this bulliten actually knew what they were talking about on this site, they first would realize that hardly ever does a car company lower cylinders(V-8? They need not to have the title viper fan, that blasmaphy!) and the new Viper not only did the 03 take cues from the GTS\R but if you were like me and a true dodge fan you would recognize that it also takes cues from the concept car Copperhead that they have had on hold for some time. And another thing , what kind of Camaro has 560 HP?!?! If there is one someone tell me about it! but i think that gut was a little confussed. Here are Viper stats strait from the mouth of Dodge, ya know the company that makes the Viper. In the words of Bill Murry in Groundhog Day "Morons your bus is leaving!" Preliminary Specifications 2003 Dodge Viper RT-10 (measurements in inches (millimeters) unless otherwise noted) Vehicle Type: Two-seat convertible Assembly Plant: Conner Avenue (Detroit, Michigan) Engine (type and description): 10-CYLINDER, 90° V-type, liquid cooled Displacement: 505 cu. in. (8300 cc) Power (SAE net): 500 bhp (372 kW) Torque (SAE net): 500 lb.-ft. (678 Nom) Transmission: Manual, six-speed overdrive Tires: Front: P275/35 ZR18 Rear: P345/30 ZR19 Wheels: Forged aluminum Front: 18 x 10 Rear: 19 x 13 Overall Length: 175.5 (4459) Overall Width: 84.8 (2154) Overall Height: 47.6 (1210) Wheelbase: 98.8 (2510) Curb Weight: 3357 (1526) Track: Front: 57.8 (1469) Rear: 60.9 (1547) One last thing I also enjoy the open back of the new Viper, only real fans notice that.

The copperhead is not a new concept, its been around for a few years already. they rounded the viper in the front and took the side scoop from the gts-r other than that, its the same car, a very conservative makeover if you ask me...------------------ My Prelude may not be the Koening Modena or Callaway C-12 I want it to be, but I'll live with it until I get too much money.
