Well, I have learned that when it comes to new vehicles (first productions) patience is not only a virtue, but it will save you from lots of headaches. I will wait for 2nd or 3rd year production. By then, they have worked out most of the kinks of new cars. Nick------------------

They dont work out kinks in cars after production starts. Maybe in very hi production cars theyll add new body styles and engines alot but not in a car like this.------------------ Porsche lover down to the golf clubs. IP: Logged |

Maybe you are not understanding what I am saying. Everytime they change drastically a car.. like come out with a new body style or similar things... the end result has few kinks... whether it is bad wiring, electronics.... tailights that need better design because they go out to quick.... little things, but anoying... Or it could be bigger things like bad transmissions, bad crash test results, etc. Point is.. after the first year and all the complaints from people, they tend to fix most of these problems in second and third year runs. Therefore.... that is why I never buy the first year of anything when there is a mayor change in the vehicle. Example. The first Volvo convertible that came out like 3 years ago (C70 i think) had lots of little problems to include the top meachanism breaking down. Well, they have by now (3rd year) fix all those problems and have a great car running. Now... if you can understand what I am saying.. you have either never owned a first year of a car that had such problems or simply can understand a simple reality of car making. ------------------

When they revamped the RX-7, the '93 had a lot more problems. My dad used to work at a Mazda dealership, and told me about it. The first year does usually have some kinks to work out, but they are usually not that bad.------------------ My Car Dealership: http://www.geocities.com/blackta00 '93 Camaro Z28 A4: Custom CAI, TB Bypass FS: $8,000 '92 VW Corrado VR6: EIP Intake Manifold, Neuspeed P-chip, Neuspeed Intake, Eibach Springs, 17" Konig Monsoons, Custom Exhaust, Stage III Clutch FS: $10,000 "Bowtie 'til the day I die" IP: Logged |

It is pretty hideous, and I only hope it does good, so they can bring over the Skyline.------------------ My Car Dealership: http://www.geocities.com/blackta00 '93 Camaro Z28 A4: Custom CAI, TB Bypass FS: $8,000 '92 VW Corrado VR6: EIP Intake Manifold, Neuspeed P-chip, Neuspeed Intake, Eibach Springs, 17" Konig Monsoons, Custom Exhaust, Stage III Clutch FS: $10,000 "Bowtie 'til the day I die" IP: Logged |

by the way a skyline weights 3500 lb and has like 320 hp. Not that much better than the new z. Only thing is that its has awd and yo can tune it, but it still costs $80 g's------------------

It is a very fast car, and it's performance is just hindered from the factory. It is so restricted from the factory, and with just a few dollars can be around 500hp.------------------ My Car Dealership: http://www.geocities.com/blackta00 '93 Camaro Z28 A4: Custom CAI, TB Bypass FS: $8,000 "Bowtie 'til the day I die" IP: Logged |

Exactly P!R@N@, but I think that the 280hp "agreement on horsepower",as Kingfisher pointed out, is going to be broken by the next NSX and the upcoming Supra. ------------------ There is no substitute for effective and efficiently engineering cubic inches(or centimeters) Like Corvettes??? What's with these gentlemen's agreements, like the BMW-Benz 155 mph and the Japanese 280 hp agreements. I think auto companies should let their engines run to their full potential.------------------ IP: Logged |

Both of these agreements should exclude their top end sports cars and allow the companies put up some real competition.------------------ Porsche lover down to the golf clubs. IP: Logged |

We live in a world that is ruled by political correctness , so having 200MPH sedans and 600hp skylines cant fit inside the mental boundaries of many people.....
