If BMW decided that the new Mini would have 1001hp, i would call it the king.

To get a 1001 HP engine shoehorned into a Mini, you might just need to remove a few parts you won't need...like, for instance, the rear seat. The passenger seat might get thrown out the window, too, to account for a monster 6-speed manual transmission. Hmm...a rear-engined Mini Cooper would surely compete with the likes of the Renault Sport Clio!!!

I'll take a 1001 hp Corrado, that would be cool. Man, my car is so light, with 1001 hp it would fly.

I wonder what sort of person will buy the Veyron? (Aside from being very wealthy, of course).

Will it be mostly men, or a lot of women, too? Traditionally, female buyers have gravitated towards Grand Touring cars like the Bentley Azure or Aston Martins, whereas more extreme supercars like Diablos or TVR Speed Twelves are mostly bought by men. (The demographics for medium-level sportscars, like Corvettes or 911s, are usually half and half).

But maybe times are changing.

The Bugatti seems to be more than just a purely agressive, performance-oriented car; it's more akin to supercars in the 1930s.

I think that its more of a male thing to buy a car with 1001hp. Although im sure that alot of women will want that sort of power too.

Women don't care about power, they mostly want a cute car.

I've met quite a few women who like power (horsepower, that is). They tend to be well-off financially, now that I think about it.

From what I've observed, women really like the road-fortress feel, too. There are Expeditions and Excursions everywhere in my town, and there's always a really small soccer mom behind the wheel, looking content with the fact that she's getting 10 mpg.

Well for the most part women usually don't care how fast something is. However, my gf likes my cars too. She thinks my VW is cute, and likes it more than my camaro. They are both fast, but she likes the cuteness of my VW.

BAdAzZ, if your girlfriend likes the Beetle more than the Camaro, maybe you should get a second girlfriend ...

Just kidding.
