Is it definitely 680 bhp? I keep reading in all these press release quotes that it's 570 bhp.

Well ... the Murcielago looks like a Lamborghini (it's got a bit of a Countach nose), but it's so very simple. Not daring, which is what I'd hoped for as a Diablo successor. At least it's clean and not overdone. The interior's a great improvement over past Lambos, but nothing jaw-dropping. Which sort of sums up my feelings about the Murcielago.

A good-looking car, but no bolt of lightning that'd make me rush to my local Lambo dealer with a suitcase full of cash.

A 3 out of 5.

I like the back end. Wish they would've put it on the Diablo. but the test of the car is BUTT UGLY!!!!The wings make the thing look like crap!No wonder it looks sssooooo bad! VW was overseeing it!

King, official figures say that it will have 580 bhp. It certainly wouldn't have 100 bhp more.

The engine is a 6,2 V12.

For styling, I'd give it 2 out of 5, compared to other super sportscars that is.

I think the front looks pretty cool. But the back is lame. It kinda looks like a combo of different cars. The wings from the Ford GT90, the front from a 360 Modena, and the back of a B-Engineering Edonis.

Yep, there are some definite similarities between the Murcielago and the Edonis. I don't know about the 360 comparison, though - the Murcie (new nickname) has more edgy lines, whereas the Ferrari is more flowing.

0-60 in 3.8 seconds. A top speed of 214 mph. Fear me.

My site - Car of the Week - This week is the BMW M3.

I like it. The front looks like the front of the Diablo 6.0, which I hate. (Keep the old 95 SV styling with the cool headlights!)
I like the back end, but those wings...

I think it sucks! It is UGLY! The only good things about it are the engine and the exhaust. I'll bet that exhaust sounds great. 6.0 680hp V12 That must sound nice. Maybe even better than a Z06 which is saying A LOT!

Well I knew that 680bhp sounded way too good!Suprisingly they don't inform it's top speed, all they say is that it's 330+ kmh (that's something like 205+ mph)It would be nice to know also its 0-200 kmh ( 0-125mph)time. I would like to see how it competes against Zonda C12S (0-200 kmh ten secs!)

Yes, I thought 680 bhp sounded high. Someone will have to inform Alex about the typo in his article.

Yep, it's a pretty big disappointment. Oh well, at least we know the F60 will be kicking its ***!

It looks cool the new lambo, but there's no way it can touch the almighty Ferrari! .
