Originally produced in the 1930's, Italian Automaker Alfa Romeo would enter the sports car market with the re-launch of their 8C model 8 decades later.

Known as the 8C Competizione, Alfa Romeo generates a following during its launch that would quickly sell out this car. As with the older model, the 8C designates the number of cylinders while Competizione translates to competition in Italian.

The sport luxury design is complimented with a 4.7 litre V8 front mounted engine producing 450 hp and capable of topping out at an incredible 181 miles per hour. You can come to expect those numbers when the engine was assembled by Ferrari.

Only 500 were made during its launch which was a huge selling point. Buyers were attracted to owning an exclusive car backed by a reputable brand, and reservations filled quickly.

Set amounts were allotted to particular countries with the biggest market in the U.S commanding 18% of sales. The demand speaks volumes. The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione resurrects the collector's spirit with a combination of true elegance and performance.
